About the Event

WHAT: We will be helping repack food, either fresh produce or an assorted box of canned and dried goods, all of which will be distributed into the community. The Eastern Illinois Foodbank serves 18 counties with a network of 167 partner agencies (pantries, soup kitchens, backpack programs), and through these partnerships we’re able to reach as many people as possible.

WHERE: Eastern Illinois Foodbank, Volunteer Center, located directly behind the main warehouse located at 2405 North Shore Drive in Urbana. To get to the Volunteer Center, please continue down North Shore Drive until you reach the end of the Cul de Sac, and the Volunteer Center is on the left-hand side (there’s a big sign, so you can’t miss it!). Please park in the gravel parking lot located on the north side of the building. Make sure to wear comfy clothes and closed toe shoes!
