Founded in 1923, the Moms Association works to promote a stronger relationship between the University and the surrounding communities. We support programs, services and activities that contribute to making a significant impact on the lives of others. Annually, the Moms Association acknowledges those in service to others through the Humanitarian Award. Two students, one undergraduate and one graduate/professional are selected each year for this award. A successful candidate has performed outstanding and innovative service to others within the local University community, demonstrates honesty and integrity, and is focused on the well-being of others.
Each award includes $500 for the recipient and a $500 grant to the organization of service mentioned in the application.

Disclaimer: Awardee must be present at the Moms Association annual meeting on April 13, 2024 to receive this award. The financial aid office will distribute money to student awardees through their student aid account. Service organization awardees will receive a check from the Moms Association.
