Illini Spirit Award

The Moms Association at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is soliciting a request for funding proposals to be awarded in the spring of 2026 for their Illini Spirit Award. We are looking to support unique initiatives that promote the growth and development of the students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The organization will receive a monetary donation of $2,000 to support the event and/or program submitted in the proposal.

Proposals should include the following:

• Name of the project, program, event, or organization nominated to receive the award.

• Description of the project, program, event, or organization.

• Explanation of how it promotes the growth and development of the students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

• A budget proposal for the grant amount of at least $2,000, including funding from all sources and unmet financial needs, must be clearly communicated in a listed format.

Application deadline: February 28, 2026​

Disclaimer: The winner of this award is expected to be present at the Moms Association annual meeting on April 10, 2026, in order to be recognized for this honor. Funds for this award are distributed through the Moms Association.
