Moms and Mums

Join us for an afternoon enjoying the late summer and early fall blooms on display in Allerton Park's famous gardens. We've also arranged a boxed lunch prepared by Blue Dragonfly Catering. This event is a wonderful way to spend time with your student, meet other Illini families, and get to know the Champaign area. Allerton Park is located in Monticello, Illinois -- just 30 minutes southwest of campus. 

Our group will meet at 1pm in the Greenhouse Cafe for check-in and lunch. 

Following lunch we will be treated to a short presentation by one of Allerton Park's Naturalists. Self-guided tours of the grounds to follow.

Boxed Lunches include Chef's choice pasta salad, a sandwich or wrap of your choice*, a Dragonfly cookie and choice of beverage (Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Bottled Water or Allerton Tea.)

Sandwich/Wraps Available* (gluten-free bread or wrap available on request):

• Turkey and brie sandwich with lingonberry jam on European-style cranberry walnut bread
• Curry egg salad sandwich on Sourdough White Bread
• Fig & Pig - Black forest ham, pimiento cheese and fig spread on toasted sourdough bread
• House-made chicken salad sandwich on croissant
• Hummus and veggie wrap
• Chicken and avocado wrap

Tickets must be purchased in advance to attend. Hope to see you there!
