
Humanitarian Award
Founded in 1923, the Moms Association promotes a stronger relationship between the University and the surrounding communities. We support programs, services, and activities that have a significant impact on others' lives. Annually, the Moms Association acknowledges those in service to others through the Humanitarian Award. Two students, one undergraduate and one graduate/professional, are selected each year for this award. A successful candidate has provided outstanding, innovative service to others within the local University community, demonstrates honesty and integrity, and is focused on others' well-being.
Each award includes $500 for the recipient and a $500 grant to the organization of service mentioned in the application.

Disclaimer: Awardee must be present at the Moms Association annual meeting on April 10, 2026, to receive this award. The financial aid office will disburse funds to student awardees through their student aid accounts. Service organization awardees will receive a check from the Moms Association.
